Andavo Travel Completes Annual Conference for Network of Advisors and Luxury Travel’s Top Industry Professionals
SALT LAKE CITY, UT (September 30th, 2021) – Leisure Host travel agency Andavo Travel completed its 15th annual AndavoConnections event held at The Little America Hotel in Salt Lake City, UT, from September 27-29, 2021.
Forty-six travel advisors and Andavo employees from 15 states traveled to Utah for this event with the first in-person attendance in over a year for the opportunity to network and receive one-on-one training from over 20 of the world’s leading luxury travel suppliers, including Seabourn Cruises, Marriott International Luxury Brands, Classic Vacations, Abercrombie & Kent, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Belmond, and many more. AndavoConnections served to reunite friends, colleagues, and business partners who need each other now more than ever to get travel and tourism back on their feet.
Andavo’s Opening Session included a strong and empowering presentation by CEO Mike Cameron designed to engage and inspire attendees. Acknowledging that the pandemic has been especially devastating for those in the travel industry, he offered a message of hope and opportunity. This year’s AndavoConnections included an Advisory Board meeting, a presentation by Seabourn Cruises, vendor-hosted meals/breaks, plus a team building activity that included making hygiene kits and hand-made fleece blankets with each adorned with a stuffed animal to donate to the Catholic Community Services of Utah for the Afghan Refugees.
“We are very grateful for the collaboration and partnerships with our preferred vendors and suppliers. The past 18 months have been tough and challenging, and we wanted to take this opportunity while we were together to amplify the positive impact travel can make and have an opportunity to uplift individuals and communities,” said Kirsten Little, Vice President of Andavo Travel.
“CCS is extremely grateful for the donation from Andavo Travel. As we’ve been preparing to receive an influx of refugees due to the situation in Afghanistan, our community has been incredibly supportive. It’s been amazing to see the ways that individuals and organizations across the state have come together to make sure that refugees being settled in Utah will be welcomed with open arms,” said Kearstin Cantrell, Marketing Manager of Catholic Community Services of Utah.
“With each AndavoConnections, we try to raise the bar, and this event in Salt Lake City was no exception. Seeing our travel advisors come together and form relationships with industry experts and each other, our key travel vendors, and the core Andavo support staff inspires us to keep offering our hosted agents more ways to grow their businesses,” said Mike Cameron, CEO of Andavo Travel.
Andavo Travel’s next AndavoConnections conference will take place in October 2022.
